I am a 6'2" junior safety from Belmont, NC. I currently have a 4.30 weighted GPA while taking a majority of honors and AP courses. This is my second season playing varsity football for South Point High School. In the past I have mainly played offense, but this season the coaches have chosen to start me on defense at safety in order to help the team.
Football and academics are equally important to me. I am a hard worker on the field and in the classroom. During the off-season, I participate in intense football related training with a personal coach/trainer above and beyond the off-season training conducted by my high school team. I feel I am just beginning to scratch the surface of my ultimate football skill set. New to defense this season, my hard work is paying off as I am playing well and continuing to improve with each snap. Likewise, in school, I focus intently on my classroom obligations in order to maximize my academic experience. My ideal collegiate athletic environment would challenge me both on the field and in the classroom. I want to attend a school where I can fully develop my athletic talents, while simultaneously developing my mind, and maturing as a man. I am willing to play football at any level for a program that is truly interested in my development as an athlete, scholar, and individual.
