My name is Robert Edwards. My friends and family call me Remmy. I live in a small town in New York called Rome, where football is popular but has not been sucessful in quite a while. My peers and I are on the road to returning this team to its full potential. Some things that have influenced who I am as a person are football, my family, my city, and my coaches. Football has taught me to have respect and good sportsmanship in everything I do. My family has shown me right from wrong and taught me how to be an outstanding person and citizen of this country. My city influences me by reminding me who I am and where I come from and what my mission is this upcoming football season, to win a section 3 division AA championship. My coaches have taught me to wait for my opportunities in life and to play the game with honor and discipline. I became interested in the game of football at the age of five. I have played the game ever since then. I have learned through football that I am physically, mentally, and emotionally strong and that I do not quit or give up no matter what. My academic goals in school are to finish with a 3.5 gpa and study animal behavior and history in college. I possess a unique set of skills on the football field. I am always the first one off the ball and am very very physical with my hands and stay on my loop very well. I have put my heart and soul into this game and way of life. Football is more than just a game to me it is a way of life and i love it. If you havent played the game you cannot understand the feeling when you step under the lights on a Friday night and give it all you got. I will work harder than i have to, to have a very good college football career. So pick me for your college and i will bring a unique set of skills and mind set to your team and do all I can to win and thrive with my team in the college football world.
