My name is Jonah Lyons. I have been playing football since I have been seven and I truly enjoy this amazing sport. Every year I play, I feel that I get better and better on the field, both mentally and physically. I look to improve even more on the field in these ways in the upcoming years. I will get in the weight room as much as possible and I will condition myself to be faster as well. I also aim to become mentally stronger with the game of football as well. I will pay attention whenever our team has film and I will take as many mental repetitions as possible.
I believe my mental attitude is what makes me stand out from other recruits the most. I am currently in a very prestigious high school in New Jersey, and I have a high GPA. I use my mind in football the most and I take advantage of other players who may be bigger or stronger than me.
I may not be the biggest or the strongest on the football field, but my technique makes those statistics insignificant. I have significantly improved my technique in these past few years by both practicing with my team and with Football University. I aim to soak up everything I have learned and use these techniques to my advantage.
I get very excited with the game of football. Every hit makes me joyful that I play the sport. I always try to keep everyone's heads up if they miss a block or drop a pass. My goal is to make everyone on the sidelines energized and excited for our team.
So as a football player, I am very experienced. I believe I have many characteristics that make me a very good player. I am smart, energized, and I give my full effort on every single play. I know I am not the strongest, tallest or fastest, but I use my mind and my technique to my advantage. This is why I am a great player.
