I started playing football when I was 8 years old and ever since my first practice, I have loved the sport and the competitiveness of football. It is just a fun sport to play, I love it! I am a two year OL/DL varsity starter for my Sophmore and Junior seasons and and was honored to be voted co-captain for the 2017 season as a Junior. Although our team did not have a strong season, it was a great learning experience for me. My hope is to continue to develop my football awareness, technique and physical strength in order to compete at college level football while earning my degree. I believe that I have what it takes to succeed, a great work ethic, leadership abilities, and an understanding of perseverance but I also know I have a lot to learn. I make the effort to listen to my coaches and do my best to follow through on their instruction. I had the opportunity to gain experience in leadership as a co-captain of the 2015 JV Football Team and 2017 Varsity Team. Also, I was honored to represent USA Football in the 2016 International Bowl U16 against top Canadian Players played at AT&T Stadium. I received a varsity letter for Wrestling in 2015/2016 and also the 2015 Sportsmanship Award. My goal is to do my best and to always lead by example. I am committed to work hard at being a good student in the classroom and on the football field, in order to reach my goals.
