I consider myself a very versatile athlete on the football field. I earned the starting Varsity Quarterback and Free Safety positions my Junior year, after being a 2-way Varsity starter at Running Back and Defensive End my Sophomore year. These were accomplishments that I worked hard to achieve. Although I faced an injury my Junior year, my dedicated rehab and training has prepared me to achieve great things on and off the football field for my Senior Year. I am driven to be a team leader and try to lead others through my actions on and off the field. This is the best way to positively impact others.
Facing the highest level of competition in athletics is the best way to measure one’s ability. As a Group 5 school in New Jersey (largest schools in the state) we compete against some of the strongest football programs and have made it into the State playoffs my last two seasons. This experience, plus my drive and determination to excel, have successfully prepared me to compete at the next level.
I am a dedicated dual-sport athlete looking to play football in the most academically challenging environment that I can. Setting academic goals and dedicating myself to achieving them is something I pride myself on. I know that my education is the single most important thing that will carry me far in life. I maintain a high GPA, have made honor roll every marking period in HS and was recently inducted into the National Honor Society.
I have been very fortunate to have football coaches and parents that have taught me the value of selflessness. I have learned that it is important to respect others, volunteer my time, give back to my community and “do the right thing”. I will continue to carry this thinking with me onto the football field, into the classroom and into my college community.
