Being selected as an Honorable Mention to the All-State football team for the second time, as a sophomore, and breaking two career passing records at my high school were a couple of the highlights of this past season. But perhaps the biggest highlight of this last season was being named Tribland Player of the Year. I have been the starting quarterback since the second game of my freshman season, and have become a team leader both by example and vocally. The team aspect is very important to me, so I strive to be the best teammate I can be and to do what takes to help my team win. I value my time with my coaches, as I see every day as an opportunity to get better and improve.
I am a natural leader, coachable and modest, and carry myself confidently in a mature way. I have a strong work ethic, and I am constantly striving to improve. I have a good knowledge of the game, that will continue to grow. I spend a lot of time working on my fundamentals, and getting faster and stronger. Academically, I understand the importance of maintaining a high academic standard as I pursue my passion for football. I am an honors student, and have a 4.0 GPA. I believe that the combination of these characteristics will help me make an immediate impact on your team.
