Hi my name is Brian LaFond I am a 6'4" 180 pound defensive end. When I first started playing football I was a receiver and conerback/safety. My freshman year I was put at offensive tackle and defensive end where I found my new favorite position DE. My sophmore year was the first year I lettered and when I started to stand out as an athlete. My junior year was the first year I had started in a varsity football game. I was voted the defensive lineman of the game on our first and only win during that football season. The summer of my senior year was when I found out how much I love the game of football. During the summer my best friend and the other captain of our defence was talking to some girls and they asked who was the best player, he didnt know I was paying attention but he answered and said "probably me". That put a bad taste in my mouth and I was going to make sure that I was the best player on my team. My goal was to be the best Defensive lineman in the state. I wanted to be that guy that every team had to install game plan to shut down. I put that on my mind every day and made sure I didn't miss a thing. I made every weights, open gym, and camps. I went to every throwing/open gym and practiced receiver and linebacker because lineman didn't have a part in those football events. My senior year was the best year of football I have ever had leading the AA in sacks. I accomplished my goal of being the best Defensive end in the state. My other goal was to play in the shrine game, we don't know everyone to make it but I'm confident that I will based on some of the things coaches have said to me. I am very mobile player and I believe that I can play any position on the field. I can't wait to start my college career and I hope I can play for you. I am now committed to play at montana tech
