While talent plays a very important role in shaping a player, having a passion for the game can make the most difference in predicting future success. I credit my father with fostering a love of football, a game I have been playing since I was 7 years old. When I get out on the field, I become a member of a team with a shared vision to be the very best. I have worked hard to create a strong physical presence, both on and off the field.
Through my determination to improve myself as a player, I was able to lose 80 pounds from January to August of 2014. Losing that weight helped me to not only get into better physical shape, but it has helped me mentally by allowing me to see the immediate rewards from my hard work. I have strived to maintain this weight by developing a solid weight room regime coupled with my time on the field. I bring to the game a physical self that is in top-notch condition, as well as an attitude for learning. I am always eager to improve my skills and learn how to be a more effective player.
I consider myself to be a leader both on and off the field. With that comes the responsibility of setting good examples for others while letting my natural charisma pump up the other players. Effort and energy are part of my game plan in all aspects of life.
I am looking for a college where I can have the best of both worlds, combining top quality academics with a well-respected athletic program. In order for me to continue my family legacy, I want to find the right college match that will help me succeed. I am confident that not only will I be one of the most dedicated players, but I will excel both on and off the field. I am proud of my accomplishments on the football field; I want to continue the legacy by playing on the collegiate level. One day, it will be my son out there who walks out on the field. I want to have a story of success to share with him
