I started my football journey at 7 years old and have played every season since. At 6'1" and only 155lbs. I realized that my goal of playing Div. 1 football might be best served by taking a year off to work out and put on some size. I also have a desire to serve my country and follow brothers footsteps by joining the Navy. Originally I planned to join the reserves which would allow me to play in the 2018 season. I have recently reconsidered. I want to attend school and play football this year. I know that by beginning my pursuit in mid April I am late, but I can not bare the thought of not being on a team.
I am passionate about football, to the extent that I "see life through a facemask." I am extremely aggressive with a linebacker mentality. I have a nose for the ball and the speed and athleticism to play at a high level. I realize my current weight is not a good match with my style of play for college. I am committed to putting in the work and know from my father and brother, who were also 'late bloomers' that I will put on a lot of size and strength this year.
I have always been a team leader and I understand the value of team chemistry and I know I will contribute to a teams sense of confidence. I am prepared to make all of the personal sacrifices to become a great player and I am eager to find a school and a team that will be 'home' for me.
