I am a Junior soon to be Senior. Everyone should have goals in life that they try to achieve. I have set my goals very high when it comes to academics and athletics. My goal is to get a great education at a very appealing campus, while also being able to continue playing football with a successful team. I firmly believe that anything is possible if you set your mind to it, AND apply yourself and your time to the task at hand. I also know that I am called a Student-Athlete, and student comes first for a reason.
Getting an education is very important to me. I love playing football, but I know that there has to be something after football. That is why I have applied myself to the best of my ability in the classroom. I have been able to maintain a GPA of 3.9 throughout my three years of High School, and don't plan on letting that slip at all. I have yet to decide what I want to major in, but I believe that I have set myself up in a good situation because of my success in all of the classes I have taken.
Of course football has a huge impact on where I go to college as well. I have always been thought of as too short, or too small to play football. It just adds to my motivation. I know that there is no way to succeed if I don't prepare myself to succeed. My teammates are very important to me. If there is no chemistry...there is no team. They are truly my brothers in and out of season. I'm also a great leader. I was named a Captain for the upcoming season, and I have set my goals very high for my senior year.
I look forward to talking to you about my collegiate goals and aspirations as a Student-Athlete.
