I am a 6'3", 270 pound center for Hudsonville High School in Hudsonville, Michigan. I also have experience playing guard and tackle. I started on the varsity football team as a sophomore and junior. I received 1st Team All-Conference honors as a junior. My school participates in one of Michigan's premiere athletic conferences. My success also continues onto the wrestling mat. In 2015 I was a state qualifier. My team also made it to team state. I am equally proud of my academic performance. I currently have a 3.74 GPA and rank 101 out of 454 students in my class. I am looking for an institution that excels in both athletics and academics.
I am a leader on and off the field. I was elected to be team captain for the 2016-2017 season by my peers and coaches. I am also a member of the National Honor Society. Part of being a National Honor Society member includes twenty hours of community service. I used this as an opportunity to give back to the community.
Ever since I strapped up my helmet and got my first sack, I made it my goal to play college football. I cannot imagine a goal I am willing to work harder towards achieving. I attack everything I do with a tenacious attitude. I work daily to become a better player by improving my strength, speed, agility, and flexibility. Finding a college where I can be a contributing player, working toward a common goal, is important to me.
