My goal is to get a good education and be prepared for a career. My dream is that I can play football while achieving those goals! I love the game and I work better under the pressure of having several committments at once!
First, what makes me different than most players, is my toughness. I am a quiet kid, who does what he's told, without complaining. Junior year was an off year for me due to my fractured kneecap, which wasn't diagnosed until after the season. I wasn't moving like I usually do but I still played hard at each and every practice and game with much success. Secondly, I am very coachable, I pick up schemes and techniques very quickly and put them into action. Lastly, I am a natural born leader. I've been the volunteer head coach for the Salvation Army youth basketball league for 5 years now. I have been invited to school, and national leadership conventions and seminars. I am also a "pod leader" for about 10 kids on all three levels of the football program at Brother Rice.
I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. Brother Rice High School has one of the toughest curriculums in the state. Being a student athlete is hard enough, along with my extra curricular activities, and volunteer coaching, it requires a lot of hard work, committment and time management. I am held to high standards by my family, peers and most importantly to myself.
