Shane Frommer '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Shane Frommer.  I am a straight A student and a three sport athlete (football-ice hockey-lacrosse).   I'm also a versatile football player:  running back, linebacker, punt/kick return, kickoff.  My team, the King Philip Warriors went undefeated this season (12-0) and won our first Massachusetts State Championship - Division 1A.  I finished the season with 1,100 rushing yards on 160 carries (6.8 yds per); 127 yards on 9 receptions, 10 TDs, 30 solo tackles, 4 sacks.  I was selected as a Hockomock Sports all-star and Mass Prep Gridiron Team: 3rd string.  Several times during the season I was selected as a star player of the week by the league and the Boston Herald.  I was also featured in a Boston Globe article prior to the Superbowl - links provided in my profile to press throughout the season.

I am very competitive, always strive to be the best and love to win.  I am also dedicated, responsible and goal-oriented.  I'm confident in my athletic abilities and dedication.  Academics are also very important to me, I currently have a 4.2 GPA and am ranked 21st in  a class of 333.  Right now, my plan is to major in Engineering in college.
