I have always been the type of kid that sets a goal and will do anything possible to reach that goal. I have dedicated myself to being the best athlete and student that I could be for my whole life. Since seventh grade I have been preparing myself to someday get into a college to compete athletically.
I work every day to make myself better, training to be bigger, faster, stronger, and tougher. I am not the type to skip a workout for anything I take any opportunity to improve, and I never let my head get too big or let myself get put down by others. I am not the loudest kid, but I do lead by example and make my presence known. On the field I am vocal and attempt to lift team members up when they make a good grab or a good block. I find that I do not say much, but people tend to follow my example anyway.
Academically I try my best to balance both my athletics and my school work. I keep a good GPA and I get all my work done regardless of how much i was doing that night with my sport. Academics must come first, as my parents always stress to me.
I want to get into a school that will help me continue to be a good student, and be able to do well as an athlete.
