Nicholas DiPietro '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Nick DiPietro and I am entering my senior year at Manchester Essex Regional High School, where I will be continuing my football career on the Varsity team as a wide-receiver. I was voted captain for the upcoming year and am excited to lead my team. I'm focused on my dream of playing at the next level and consider myself a devoted team player on and off the field, and also during the off-season. As part of my dedication to the sport and my community, I have also been volunteering my time in support of the younger generation of football players in the area, alongside one of my coaches and a few of my teammates.

I have been appointed in previous months to be a part of the decision making process for hiring a new head football coach at my high school. I found that during this process I was able to pick up on vital interviewing skills and now have a solid grasp on real world interviewing techniques.

My goal is to attend a college or university where I can not only play the sport I love, but also major in business and prepare myself for a successful future. I just recently completed a full year in Marketing Honors as well as Business Management Honors and am moving on to an Entrepreneurship Class next year with hopes and a solid plan of starting my own on-field apparel company which is on track to be up and running during my senior year. These particular courses also allow me to participate in DECA, an organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. 

Whether I'm pushing myself to the limits on the football field or in the weight room, or I'm preparing for my next DECA competition, I'm keeping my aspirations top-of-mind and demonstrating my hardworking, 'there's no such thing as quitting' attitude. I'm always willing and ready to put out the effort needed to succeed on a personal level, while also pushing my peers to be the best they can be.
