I’ve known from a very young age that I want to be the best that I can be, both academically and athletically. I go after every opportunity I come across that will help me on these paths, whether the opportunity seems significant or not.
My athletic career began with soccer at age 4. Now, 13 years later, I am going into my 8th year of football, and my 4th year of track. I am striving toward reaching my full potential on and off the field. Whether actively in a sport or during the off season, I continue to go to a facility called PowerSource for an hour long training session three days a week. I am constantly working to improve my form and my abilities.
In school I work just as hard. I currently have a high GPA and take all honors courses with an AP course. I volunteer at the local Veteran’s Center and I am involved in multiple extracurricular school activities, such as Student Council, GIVE Program and the Renaissance Program.
I would like to attend a college where I can excel not only in the classroom but on the football field as well. I intend to major in Engineering and would love to be part of a college where I can show my skills on and off the field while continuing to make my family, my coaches and my professors proud.
