I began my Football career my Freshman year, and immediately fell in love with the game. Football has taught me perseverance through hardship and that I am a natural leader. I persevered through a season ending injury early in my Junior year, as I dislocated my patella and fractured my femur. Through my recovery, I realized how much commitment and love I have not only for my team, but also to the game of Football. After the injury, I discovered that I am not close to ready to give up the game because it hurt to watch my team play without me in the last nine games of the season. As soon as I could comfortably stand I was back on the turf throwing to receivers to better myself, despite the weather. Now at full recovery, I'm working as hard as I can to better myself and my team for my senior season.
I've grown an incredible amount not only as an athlete, but also as a student. My goal is to finish high school with a 3.6 GPA or better, and to do the exact same in college. My current 3.5 GPA shows that my hard work ethic transfers off the field and into the classroom as well.
I am looking for a College or University that not only fits me athlete, but also as a student. I enjoy learning, and academics are just as important to me as athletics. I know my hard work ethic and leadership skills as a quarterback will show you that I will be an important member of your team next year.
