My name is Sam Rothstein, I am a junior at Century High School in Sykesville, Maryland. I am interested in playing for your team because I believe that I would make a strong addition to your organization, I am fast, strong, coachable, and dedicated. I appreciate, and am committed, to character traits such as, loyalty, personal responsibility, and strong leadership, all of which I have learned throughout my life as a military-brat, three years in high school, and over 400 hours of community service. I strive to improve every day. I am a 6'4" 230-pound defensive end and offensive tackle. I was named 2nd team all-county and all-conference for Offensive Line along with being recognized in the Baltimore Touchdown Club Super 22 for the same position. Being a starter both sides of the ball I helped my varsity team become 2nd in our county. I am an athlete all year-round being on the varsity team for Wrestling and Track and Field, in addition, I am a 2nd degree black belt in Tai Jitsu. This year in wrestling I was a state qualifier (finishing in the top 8) at 220lb weight class. I also make sure to keep my academics in check and it shows, I am taking three AP classes this year and maintaining a 3.9 GPA.
Thank you for your time and consideration, I look forward to following up appropriately. As always, please feel free to contact me anytime at your convenience.
