My name is Darrell M. Johnson, I am 16 years of age in the 11th grade at Gwynn Park High School. I have a goal of playing on the college level and playing on a professional sports team. The way that I will achieve this goal is with hard work and dedication. I was always told that hard work beats talent. When talent fails work hard. From that day forward I have always worked harder than the man in front of me. My junior year, I was the starting offensive tackle. I am dedicated to both my academic and athletic careers. I am active in school, time permitting, and participate in other high school sports such as Track and Field, and Wrestling during the off-season. I will take any scholarship I can get in football. Just trying to go to the highest level possible no matter what it takes. What makes me different from other recruits is I am a person of good character, very respectful, a team player, humble and put others before myself. Just about half of my life was spent on the field, therefore I understand discipline, confidence and competing at a high level.
