Montel Cormier '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Montel Cormier I am a middle linebacker from Abbeville Louisiana and I am very determined to play at the next level. I come from a program that have been struggling for years. It is my dream to be part of a program where I am surrounded by people who share the same hunger and drive for success as I do. My goal is to excel in each aspect of my life while playing the sport I love. I bring to the table great leadership, great discipline, and a work ethic like no other. I have been a starter since I was a freshman, I maintain a 3.20 or above GPA and have a 22 ACT score, I am now a state champion for power lifting as well as team captain.  I am also the section leader for low brass at my high school band as well as team leader of a freshman academy program.  Ideally, I would like my athletic environment to be one where i can make an immediate impact on the team, If it means I have to sit out a year or two and continue training to become one of the best on the field I am willing to do so. I am very coachable and I am willing to adapt and adjust so I can improve every aspect of my game for I never settle for any less than the best i can do.  I would like to have excellent coaching and people to push me to do better and I will not disappoint when given the opportunity.  Thanks for viewing my page in advance.  Have a blessed day.
