I have played football since I was in the first grade. Since then I have been on teams with winning seasons and teams with losing seasons. No matter my team's record, I can never remember a time when I didn't want to be on a football field. I love being apart of a team that I can contribute to and play for my teammates. The feeling I have after a hard fought game is what I play for. Knowing that I did everything I possibly could for four quarters is what makes every practice, every workout, and every play worth it at the end of the game. I want to play at a collegiate level because I want to continue to have that feeling as long as I possibly can.
My collegiate goals are to obtain an academic and athletic scholarship, graduate with honors with a college degree in visual communications, and play college football. I want to be a key contributor for any school I play for. I am different in my character athletically because I am dedicated to working hard to be the best player that I can be to benefit my team by attending every practice and working throughout the off season. My favorite quote is "Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard." I will not let someone less talented than me beat me because they worked harder than I did, and I will not let someone more talented beat me because I did not work hard enough. Also, I am committed to not being involved in activities that could be a distraction from my academic and athletic goals.
