I'm Malcom Walker, a senior at Harrison County High School. I've been playing football since I was five years old, and my goal is to become a collegiate athlete. As team captain, I start at wide receiver and defensive corner, and I'm also on kickoff returns. I believe I can contribute to any team because I am a versatile player who can work as a team player and hard to make myself better. I understand that it take an entire team to win - the team is only as strong as our weakest and that is why as a Cornerback (CB), Wide receiver (WR) or Quarterback (QB), I try to be a leader and encourage everyone to work harder too.
I want to be the go to player the coach can count on to make things happen. I play both sides of the ball and try to give my best on every play. Time seems to slow down when I hit that field, and I feel unstoppable when I stop the offense, take that snap, or catch that pass. I am working hard to prepare myself for the next level on and off the field, and that includes effort in the classroom.
