My main goal at the next level is to earn my degree in the career field I feel I excel the most at. College football does not last a life time but a degree does. Being the absolute best at everything I do isn't something I want, it is expected. Starting as a sophomore on a state winning team matured me and gave me championship-level-play experience and that is what I can bring to a program. My junior year I started at the same position as my team came back from a 28 point deficit during the 5A State Championship game only to lose by 3 with 8 seconds left; a game also mentioned in the NY Times. Senior year I was nominated a team captain and was selected as a pre-season all state DB. We went 9-1, losing in the first round of sectionals to the later state runner-ups. I would classify my senior year as a character building year because after losing more than 7 starting seniors on both sides of the ball, nobody had predicted us to win the conference and go undefeated regular season, yet we gritted our teeth and did the unthinkable.
