Throughout my life I have learned a lot about myself. The first meaningful thing was when I was faced with peer pressure. I learned that it takes a lot of mental toughness and determination to be my own person. secondly I learned it was okay to be a leader, to be seated in the front of the class making good grades always reminding myself that it's okay to be in the top of my class academically. Showing other students and athletes that may look up to me that it's okay to be a true "student athlete".
Being a leader in the classroom has help me become a better and stronger leader on the football field. When facing adversity, I've learned how to not only motivate myself but my teammates to help us overcome any situation and in most cases help lead us to victory!!!
