My name is Alfago L. Shumake and I am currently an AP/Honors student at Shiloh High School. Since I was six years old football and science has been a major part of my life. My parents never forced me into anything because they knew that I wanted it for myself. I have always had a desire to play with others better than me and the challenge of playing college football is my final goal. From the time I spent playing park ball league to high school football, I have seen successful and non successful teams. This has taught me how a successful team and player work ethics carries them to succeed. This has lead me to hold other players accountable to be the best they can be. I never wanted football to be a means to an end but as my way of growing myself. As a college football player, I see myself encouraging other top notch athletes as well as advancing my education all while building up the reputation of the great institution that accepts me into their program.
