My name is Cole O'Neal and I am excited to be a up and coming senior at Bremen High school in Bremen, Georgia. I graduate in 2017. What makes me one of the best student athletes is that I push myself in everything I do. I always put in hard work in the weight room, classroom, and on the field to obtain my goals. I believe I will make a great college athlete because I want to push myself to be the best student athlete I can be. My family has always taught me to work hard in the classroom, respect my teammates and coaches. I started playing football when I was 5 years old and my passion for the game grows more every year. I believe in putting hard work in the weight room in season and out of season to make myself better. My sophomore and junior year I Put on 30 lbs working out in the weight room. I'm going into my senior year and I am now the strongest player on my high
school team. I have a goal to break my high schools bench press record this yr. My goals in the weight room are to push myself to the limit and beat our high school weightlifting records. My freshman year I earned a spot on the all-area freshman football team. My freshman year I played a full JV schedule and also earned playing time on the varsity squad, which is rare for freshman in our area. I went into my sophomore and junior football season starting at a DL and OL position and playing some linebacker.
I am also a 3 yr. starter for my high school wrestling team at 220lbs. I just wrapped up a 6th place finish at individual state in 2016 which I am very proud of. As a team we placed second in state at team duals 2014,2015, and 2016. I believe wrestling has helped my football abilities by helping my foot work, making me more mentally tougher, and faster. My parents have encouraged me to be a good student and make A's and B's. I finished my freshman, sophomore year with a 3.5 GPA and desire to excel again this year in the classroom. I have maintained great grades currently in my junior year as well. My current GPA is 3.5!I have taken my practice psat and plan on taking my SAT/ ACT this spring.
I'm a leader on and off the field. I encourage everyone around me to do the best they can at everything they do. I participate in my church's youth group and attend church on a regular basis. I'm a member of FCA and I believe in putting god first. I feel that i have strong values, I have good character, and am mentally strong.
I'm open to any college that is interested in letting me play on their team. I am a serious athlete and I want to play for a school that is serious about their program. I'm very dedicated and loyal to my coaches and teammates. I'm willing to put in the hard work on and off the field to help my school's football program. I'm a coachable player that's willing to play different positions to help out the team.
I'm looking forward to hearing from any coaches interested in me playing on their team. Thank you for your time.
