I have played at The Lovett School now for 4 years and this year was my Junior year and my third year on the varsity team. I also started varsity baseball my sophomore year. I played left field and hit lead off. My freshman year was an incredible experience as we lost only one game and won a State- Championship that year. It showed to me that with hard work an undersized team can do incredible things. I personally am a bit undersized for your average quarterback but that drives me to outwork the competition each and every day. On the field I play with tenacity and have a competitive nature like no other. I understand the game extremely well and my favorite thing is seeing the "fruits of my labor." My freshman year I set a goal to play college football and I never stop working towards achieving that goal. Outside of football I work hard on my academics, have a strong religious life, and spend time with my family.
On the field, I play quarterback but have played running-back, fullback, wide- receiver, and linebacker in the past. I am a true dual-threat quarterback but am willing to play any position that I can help the team the most. I believe that a strong relationship between teammates and coaches is crucial to a team's success and look forward to building that relationship with whoever I play for. My work ethic is indisputable and I am confident any of my coaches or teammates will say the same.
Football is a humbling game that teaches life lessons and creates memories you will never forget. I love the game and plan to play as long as I possibly can. My academics are very important to me and my goal is to find a college that will push me to succeed not only on the field but also in the classroom. Wherever I may end up I intend to push myself to be the hardest worker on the team and make an impact as soon as possible. I treat the game and the classroom with the respect and dedication they deserve and hope to find a school that does the same.
