In my first three years of high school, I participated in Football, JROTC, Weightlifting, and the Science National Honors Society. My training in ROTC made me more disciplined in every aspect of my life, including football. I have a natural drive to improve daily and that drive and my discipline have combined to create the person I am today. Unfortunately during my Junior year of high school, I suffered a Jones fracture in my left foot and was out for the entire season. I have worked hard to get back to my old self and pick up were I left off. While I have only been playing football three years, I have studied and worked hard to come as far as I have and will keep working hard throughout college.
Academically, I have taken every advanced course that I could - starting in third grade when I entered the school's gifted program. I strive to do my very best in every class and will bring that work ethic to college where I plan to earn a engineering or athletic management degree.
