Patrick Henry '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches,

My name is Patrick “Mickey” Henry and I have just completed my junior year of varsity football.  I have earned a varsity letter every year that I have played in high school; I have been lucky enough to play a tough schedule that I know will only have me prepared to play at the next level.  I have played against teams in Texas, Georgia, New Jersey, Ohio, Maryland and Delaware.

I am 17 years old, I am 6’4" tall, and I currently weigh 278 pounds. Since entering high school I have been playing RT & LT Tackle, but as my film will show I can also play Center and either Guard position.  I am a versatile player and I will play on the line wherever I am needed to make the team better. I want to be the player that the team has confidence running behind to get essential yards or give my QB the assurance that we will have the time he needs to get his pass off. I am also very capable of playing Defensive Tackle or Defensive End. I believe that you earn what you put into it so I make sure that in the weight room and the classroom I push my self to be great.

This year I was named to the Catholic Conference team, on May 17, 2015 I attended the NUC Combine & Showcase in Northern New Jersey and was named the OL MVP. I have attended 2 combines in 2014 and I won the OL MVP at the local National Underclassman Combine (NUC) and went on to win the OL MVP at the Eastern NUC Ultimate 100 event. I am proud of my accomplishments, but I know I have to work harder on the field to improve my individual skills so that I can only make my team better. I have been working out at Titus Training and the coaches have been pushing me to always get better on the field as well as my overall strength.
