Nolan Henderson '17 Recruiting Profile

    I am humbled and honored to be in the position that I am in. I have been blessed with talents both on and off the field and I would love to show you what I have to offer to your college or university. To tell you a little about myself, I am a junior quarterback from Smyrna High School. My team and I have just won our first ever State Championship this December. Our high powered offense averaged 50.7 points per game and 497.6 total yards per game. I was apart of this same team when we went 2-8 my freshman year and 5-5 my sophomore year. Through hard work, dedication, and commitment we got to the position we are in today. I love the game of football and competition altogether. My ultimate goal is to play football at the next level and I believe I have what it takes to do that.

    Over my career of 22 games, I have thrown for 57 touchdowns and 5550 yards with a completion percentage of 64.6. I also have run for 873 yards and 11 touchdowns. This year I was ranked 31st nationally among Juniors via MaxPreps in passing yards(3380) and 45th nationally for passing touchdowns(36). I was awarded 1st Team All-State Honors and was named 1290am Fox Sports Offensive POY. This February I was chosen as one of the top high school football players in the state of Delaware by In The Heat Recruit. Aside from my physical ability, I pride myself on being an outstanding teammate and leader. I always look to bring the best out in my teammates and be as coachable as I possibly can.
