Caleb Wurster '17 Recruiting Profile

I am 18 years of age and the fourth of seven children.  I was homeshcooled until high school and did farm chores everyday growing up.  I played baseball from 7 years old and am a left-handed varsity starter pitcher.  I didn't play football until my freshman year and was not a starter until my junior year.  I knew next to nothing about football going into it  but I was willing and able to learn and worked hard.  I came to love the game of  football and all that it encompasses.  I love the camaraderie with my teammates and the adrenaline rush of working hard and being successful because of it.    My determination paid off in becoming one of the team captains in my senior year.  I am a committed student athlete and a leader on and off the field.  I always put team first and do not stop until we have accomplished all goals.   I am 6'1" and 185# and only now beginning to grow into my body.   I am quick, I have great hands, and I know everyone's assignment on the field at all times.   I believe that I would be an asset to any team.  I look forward to continuing the conversation.   Please feel free to contact either myself or Coach Drew Gamere  860-668-7315    Sincerly, Caleb
