Andrew Blackmore '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since the age of 6, and college football has always been a goal of mine. My coaches and I believe I have what it takes to compete and succeed at the collegiate level. I am an extremely hard working athlete who will do whatever it takes to succeed. I have a tremendous work ethic on and off of the field. My attention to detail is a strong characteristic that I portray in all aspects of my life. In the weight room I make sure that I push myself, and my teammates to get better everyday. I lead by example by taking advantage of every workout, eating well, training smart, getting proper sleep and striving to achieve aggressive goals. My hard work, determination and focus is reflected on and off of the field. In the classroom I am making huge strides in my academic performance and look forward to continued success. I believe that my GPA does not reflect my academic caliber. Over the last few semesters I have learned the best ways for me to achieve my academic potential. I have taken this knowledge, combined it with my determination and have seen improved academic performance.
