Personal Statement

Hello, My name is David Brandt and  I am a student-athlete at Dakota Ridge High School in Littleton, CO. Since I was a kid, I have had a dream  to go to college and play football. I have turned that dream into a goal. The reasons that I am a good candidate for your team are:
  • Work Ethic: I have always worked extremely hard. I was diagnosed with Dyslexia a couple of years ago and I work very hard at learning and earning strong grades. My GPA is an example of my work and I look forward to doing the same in college. On the field and with my training, I always give 100% effort. I strive to work harder everyday to help myself and my team.
  • Teamwork: I love the game of football and I love being a part of a team! The guys are what drive me. I have always been involved in team sports, football, basketball and Lacrosse. The friendships that I have built through football are the best!
  • Leadership/Character: I work to be a leader in all that I do. I am very goal driven and my goals help me to focus the decisions that I make on and off of the field. My parents, grandparents and family are role models for me and they are always there to support me.
Coach, in me you will get a guy with a strong work ethic, leadership/character and the athletic ability to help your program. I would love to be a part of what you are building at your school! Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
David

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
