Personal Statement

I hope one day I play professionally in football. First I would like to graduate high school. Then I want to go to college and study sports medicine. I work hard to achieve my goals and give it all my heart. I will never give up on my goals. I love playing football. I have no idea what I would do without it. I push myself to be the best I can be as a football player, but that's not the only thing I push myself to be the best, I push myself to do my best in school. I study and work hard so  I can to get my grade as good as possible, and I will continue to do that. No matter how good or bad I play in football I think I can improve. I think if I did good one week then next week I need to play way better the upcoming week. The same is for school, if I get a high grade on an assignment then next time it has to be even higher then the last time. But i want to be the best I can be and will do that. I want to finish a football game or an assignment in school knowing I did my best and tried my hardest. That's why I work hard to make me be the best I can be in school and for football. I  know that playing professionally in football could not happen for sure. I still want to be involved with sports though, that's why  I want to study sports science. I am a focused person and want to achieve my goals.

Junior Year Injury:

At the start of my junior season I went down with a season ending injury that took me out of all nine games. The injury occurred on August 28, 2015 as my team and I traveled to Middle Park High School in Grandby, Colorado to scrimmage the Middle Park Panthers and Lyons Lions. I was running the ball down the sideline when I got tackled, as I was falling to the ground my right arm outstretched and another opponent came to tackle me as well and his helmet directly hit my elbow with great force. My right elbow suffered a dislocation and also a fracture to my right medial epicondyle in my elbow as well. The dislocation was set back into place the same night and the fracture had to be surgically repaired with two pins to pin the bone back to the appropriate location. I began rehab on September 28, 2015 with assisted range of motion.I wore a splint and later moved to an elbow brace within a few weeks. The pins were removed on October 14, 2015. Rehab was continued and the brace was no longer needed. Today is November 8, 2015 and I still conitinue to go to physical therapy twice a week and am able to do light weight training, I feel like I am at 90% to a full recovery. My only stars of the 2015 season came from the scrimmage and I have included them in my 2015 season. I will also include film from the two scrimmage games as well.
