I strive to attend a university with a disciplined focus, preferring the military focus of a United States Service Academy. I have also applied for the Naval ROTC Scholarship and desire to serve my country upon completion of my college degree. I have been a member of the Civil Air Patrol and have recently achieved my Billy Mitchell Award. I have also completed my CFA and am DODMERB qualified, which are both required for Service Academy admissions. I have a 3.8 GPA, achieving a 4.0 in my last semester and an ACT score of 29. In the summer of 2015, I served as an elected official in the Colorado Boys State. I am disciplined and focused, preferring to surround myself with people that have the same disciplined approach.
I am currently a two way starter on my High School football team and now a two year starter as Long Snapper. I have been involved with Rubio Long Snapping for about a year and a half, currently ranked 75th in my class of 2016. Over the last 6 months, I have brought my punt snap speed to be consistently in the low .7's. In December 2014, I also won the accuracy segment of the Texas Rubio camp.
I also feel it is important to serve my community. I currently have about 60 hours of community service and served as a volunteer ski instructor for the National Sports Center for the Disabled in Winter Park, Colorado.
