Alex Rupe '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal in college is to work hard academically and to be a valuable asset to the football team.  I have lettered for three years in football and was an honorable mention, all conference Tight End as a Junior. I was also elected captain as a senior. I'm a good Tight End because I'm well rounded at the position.  I block well, open up holes, as well as catch in traffic.  I also play Defensive End and enjoy that position because I can be disruptive to the backfield.  What makes me different from other recruits is that I am a well rounded athlete.  I've played high school basketball for two years and have been on the varsity swim team for three years.  On top of that I'm a musician who has played jazz piano for 11 years and recently taught myself the ukulele.
