There are three things that are of high priority to me, football, my academics, and my family. I take pride in the fact that I excel in my academics. My current overall weighted academic GPA for high school is 4.25 As my education is very important to me, I am looking for a college with a high level academic program. After I receive my bachelor’s degree, I'd like to continue and receive an MBA. Although education is my top priority, playing football at these colleges is also a huge goal of mine.
Although my primary positions are strong safety and outside linebacker, I play any position that my coach needs me to due to our low numbers. My team is like my second family and I will do anything to make sure our goals as a team are achieved, even if it goes against my individual goals. I was a team captain on Jv and our team went 4-1 in league, giving us the title of second place in conference. Last season, I started as the varsity strong safety and was one of the leaders in defensive stats.
This past school year, I took many advanced placement classes. My schedule included AP Biology, AP Calculus AB, AP United States History, and Honors American Literature. I maintained a 4.43 GPA and scored very highly on my AP tests. I also took the SAT and scored a 1450(1490 super score). In my senior year I'll be taking Honors Physics and AP Calculus BC.
Currently I am an active member of the California Scholarship Federation (CSF).This club takes high achieving students and gives them opportunities for community service. Also, I have recently joined my school's DECA club and I gained the position of Finance officer. This club offers experience in the business world through workshops and nationwide competitions
