Hello, my name is Kyle Ybanez I’m seventeen years old. I’m half Mexican, and half Native American of the Navajo Tribe. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and year later move to Flagstaff, Arizona, and lastly move to Page, Arizona I have lived in Page since 2001 to current. I attend church at Faith Bible Chapel and an active member since 2009. I help with the children ministry, and youth groups. I have also help with several volunteer construction projects, and with the ushering at my church.
I attend Page High School and play football for the Sand Devils on the OL and DL. I started to lift weights after my seven-grade football season. My workout routine is two times a day, five days a week for the off-season, and during the in-season my workout is two times a day, three days a week. My workout routine also includes not only strength, but also working on my speed to get my 40 yard time below a 5.0 long with foot work, and agility skills. My over all max goals for strength for squat is 600lbs, dead lift is 600lbs, bench press is 405lbs, and clean 315lbs by the time I graduate from Page High School. I have played football since the seventh grade till now, and I have played center, guard, tackle, full back, and nose guard, defensive end, and line backer. My primary position right now is right Offensive Tackle used to set the edge for outside plays. I have played on both JV and Varsity from my freshman year, as starter on both levels and now just Varsity. This year I was awarded PHS-Player of the year offensive linemen, and Honorable Mention by the AIA for the 3A north.
My desire for after High School is to move onto college and play football at the next level. In order to do this I will have to continue to work hard on my Academics in order to achieve this GOAL. I know that some day football will end for me, and when it does I will need to have a great Education that will last me way pass my football days.
As for my hobbies I like to play video games, watch movies, read books of all kinds, create short films of the environment around me, and I like to hang out with family and friends. As for the outdoors, I like to hike around the Grand Canyon and the canyons around it and going to Lake Powell. Being that this is where I live, and it’s in my back yard.
