Hey Coaches, Brandon Decker here,
Thanks for taking a peek at me.
It is my hope that I will be able to play football at the next level in 2016. I say it is my hope, because I know that I have the ability, want, and desire to. While understanding that I am young and life has many curves to it, my current goals are to attain my undergraduate degree in business, and then go on to law school. I know the work that I will have to put in to get where I want to be, and I am looking forward to the challenge. I also understand the work that it takes to play the game of football, and I am ready to continue the effort and dedication that I have put forth to this point.
I feel that I can be an asset to any program, on any level. I simply love the game, and am willing to do whatever it takes to be part of your team. While I would hope to challange for a starting spot, if that is not in the cards right away, I will push starters to be better players, which will only make my team better. I am a leader, I lead by example on the field, and in the classroom. On the field I am a 2 year starter at the center position, being a little undersized for this position, I am continually facing both bigger and larger lineman. I have been challenged by the best at my level and have always held my own if not more. In class I am in the top 10% of my graduating class, I am a member of NHS, continually pushing myself with AP, Honor, and Dual enrollment classes. I have the desire to do and be the best I can at whatever it is I am doing, and that will only be an assest for your team.
Off the field, within my community I volunteer coach youth football. I've coached at the Jr. Pee Wee and Pee Wee levels which is something I have done for the last 2 years, and will continue to do this year.
