One thing that I've learned in life is that making excuses will get you no where. No one is interested in an excuse of why something didn't get done so I try my best not to make them. Although some reasons may be valid I try to keep them to a minimum as much as I can and work hard to specialize in results. From a young child my mom has always encouraged me to be a leader instead of a follower. Through the years I feel like I have embraced the leadership role from the area of athletics to the classroom. I'm not afraid to take the leading role in any situation that may present itself. I try to surround myself with positive people because I'm not interested in a life full of drama. I try to treat people the way I'd want them to treat me. In college I'm interested in Business Management because I would like to be able to manage my own business someday after sports. I feel like that knowledge will take me very far. Whether it's managing my own business or helping someone else manage theirs until I can get mine. Either way that knowledge will be helpful in doing both. As a student I work hard and try to avoid waiting to the last minute to complete a task. I think I may struggle a little when it comes to taking standardize tests. However, I will continue to work hard and put my all into whatever I do.
