Alexis Schramm '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexis Schramm and I am currently a junior at South County Secondary School, a Fairfax County public school located in Lorton, VA. I have been playing field hockey for over 5 years now and have quickly fallen in love with the sport - I have played soccer since I could walk, but am beginning to prefer field hockey over soccer. I am a varsity starting forward and enjoyed a great outdoor season this year - I was honored by being named to the 2nd All District Team after my sophomore season! I also play indoor field hockey on my club's platinum team, Rampage Field Hockey. I have decided that field hockey is a sport that I can compete very well in and would very much like to take my skills to the next level and play in college. With two more years of high school field hockey left, I will have ample opportunity to sharpen my skills and become as quality a player as I can be. I plan to continue to develop my skills and take advantage of whatever training and playing opportunities become available to me to attain my goal of playing at the next level. I am looking for a good school that would provide me with significant playing opportunities as well as a good education. The program I hope to find will be one that I can contribute to immediately as well as one that will challenge me as a student athlete.
