My name is Heather Zezzo and I am in the graduating class of 2013. I have played field hockey and soccer for 9 years, and have been a varsity sprinter for the CB West High School Track team, for two years, where I've had the opportunity to compete in both PIAA Districts and States, as well as the world-renown Penn Relays. I also represented TEAM USA in the "World Cup" International Championship in the summer of 2011, in DRAGONBOAT RACING, where I won 3 GOLD medals for USA. It is field hockey, however, about which I am most passionate, and I am very focused on playing field hockey in college. I have had the fortunate opportunity to play in 4 NITs ,2 Disney, and 3 Festival Tournaments (Winning the GOLD 2010), as well as participating in the National Club Championship, AAU Gold Championships 2010, 3 times Keystone Games, 5 year Futures, 2 Big Apple Tournaments,2 College Connection, and I was selected the past two years to the Junior Premier Indoor League. I captained our CB West High School 2012 team which advanced to the Pa. State Play-offs and have received several awards over the years to include Pa. All-State First Team Selection 2012, two years Suburban One League All-League Selections, First Team 2012, twice the recipient of the Golden Stick award for most goals scored, Most Valuable Player Award 2012, Suburban One League Univest Athletic Award 2012, SOL league leading goals scorer, and All-Intell First Team. I am, however, always eager to learn more and improve. I am a member of the Delaware Valley String Orchestra and I play the piano, violin, and harp. I have attended Chinese language classes for three years at Villanova University. I have a 4.3 overall GPA . I was President of National Junior Honor Society. I am President of our High School Student Government Organization and a member of National Honor Society. I am interested in Science and Math and have won 1st place for the past three years in the (ISEF)Delaware Valley Science Fair, placed FIRST in the PJAS, and advanced to States winning a First Place there, as well. I also was selected as a first place winner for Talent Search. I continue to volunteer in my community specifically with my non-profit company established in 2009 called Silver Slippers. I was a recipient of President's Obama's Gold Volunteer Service award in 2010 and Silver in 2011, and Bronze in 2012. I am a dedicated student who works hard at both academic and athletic opportunities. I was voted "Most Likely to Succeed" 2010 and "Most Likely to become President" 2013 by my peers, and that inspires me even more!
