I am determined to become the best possible athlete and student I am able to be. Growing the game is my main goal. As a player, I consistently push myself to get better. To me, it`s extremely necessary to know what I need to improve on, whether it be in a game or in a classroom. I must admit, I am far from a perfect hockey player. I have my strengths and weaknesses, but I`m willing to learn and capitalize on the time I have to succeed in becoming my best possible self. On my college journey, I am seeking a team that is more than just impressive statistics. A coach that understands their team and makes sure they love the sport is one of the main qualities I hope to find in college. Educationally, I am eager to find a field of study to pursue a career in. As I have found out for myself this junior year of high school, grades do not define me. College is a time to gain real-life experience and decide what I want to do with my life. A supportive team alongside me during this new (and scary) experience would help in this major transition. Field hockey will always be important to me and I am ready to devote my college experience to a team full of players that love the sport as much as I do.
