Kaitlyn Mastracco '19 Recruiting Profile

     As a three sport athlete, I love each of the sports I participate in, however field hockey has always held my greatest interest. Unlike individual sports field hockey not only provides the team dynamic I so greatly enjoy, but also the fast paced tempo and quick thinking that fuels me. In collegiate field hockey,  I am looking for a team with great chemistry. My field hockey and overall college experience should be something I will remember forever, with relationships that will last a lifetime. I also believe it is important for my teammates and I to have similar mindsets, because having the same mindsets will allow us to form a more cohesive unit so that we can more easily accomplish our goals. I have played both offense and defense in equal parts, this makes me a versatile player that can fill in for many positions. I am someone that is constantly trying to learn more and am willing to do anything to support my teammates. 

     I am looking for an academic program that will allow me to excel after college.  While in college I would like to grow in the classroom, and also gain experiences in the local community. I am currently undecided with a major as I enter my sophomore year in high school. My great interest in athletics has lead me to consider a potential career within them after college. I am still exploring other subjects in school such as business and other sciences to hopefully find another field that I am as passionate about as I am athletics.
