Courtney D'Agostino '17 Recruiting Profile

Collegiate goals & aspirations-
My long term aspiration is to major in biology, and continue on to med school to become a pediatric oncologist. Field hockey is my passion; however, in the long run, my field hockey career will come to an end, and I will be able to dedicate all my time to help kids fight cancer. I am very interested in colleges that will challenge me mentally and physically as a student athlete. Also, my major collegiate goal is to attend a D1 or D2 school. All in all, my dream is to play in a competitive athletic program while still working hard for my own education.

What makes you a good candidate for their team?-
I don't want to seem unoriginal and say that I am generous, encouraging, and a leader; but it is all so very true. As I am a fast learner and a notably versatile player. In which I have played almost every position so far in my high school career besides goalie. Currently I play right forward, but I could easily readjust to any position a coach would feel I belong to.

What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?-
I am selfless as well as noble, and I put my team before myself so as a whole we become successful. I never try to be anyone but myself, and always work and play to the best of my abilities. On and off of the field I give 110% no matter what the situation.
