2012 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am currently a junior at Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ where I will graduate in 2014. I have been playing field hockey since third grade and have loved it from day 1. Prior to 9th grade, I also played lacrosse. However, it was at that point I decided to put all of my energy into field hockey and aspire to play at the collegiate level.
I was elected captain of my school’s Varsity team for the 2013 season. I have been playing on Spirit of USA for 3 years. Since sixth grade, I have been playing with Futures, making Level I in 2012 and 2013. My core classes at Shawnee are all Honors and I currently carry an unweighted GPA of 3.6
I look forward to attending a college where I can excel both in the classroom and on the field. I am open to many options and my priority is to find the right college match for me.
