Mia Radici '18 Recruiting Profile

Field hockey is my life. Being a West Coast girl, I was introduced to field hockey later than most college bound players, but it quickly turned into a passion for me and superseded all of my other sports.  I am very outgoing, athletic, coachable and I love to make new friends.  Being on a team is my "happy place".  I treat every practice and game like a tryout, putting in 110% effort and never giving up.  Coaches usually tell me that I am very quick to react to a play or to a ball that has just been passed to me.  I would consider my strongest skills crossing the ball and setting up scoring opportunities for my other teammates.  Field hockey has not only taught me determination, but it has also made me develop other characteristics on and off the field such as being a team player and working with others in addition to overcoming challenges. I have a tremendous passion for this sport and would love to continue to play field hockey at a competitive level.  Academically, I am excited to pursue a college education while maintaining my love for field hockey and look forward to successfully combining both.
