Dylan Bender Base...Personal Statement
My name is Dylan Bender. I've been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. I started playing in Texas until I was 10 and then we moved to Wyoming. I've been playing in Wyoming for the past 8 years in which the last 6 have been on a traveling club team. Wyoming has no high school or college level play except for club ball. Throughout my career, I have batted in the 4th or 5th hole, being a strong power hitter. I have always played 3rd and 1st base but also like pitching. I am also a All-Conference football player at my high school my junior and senior years and love competition, but my true passion is baseball.
I've been selected every season to be on the all-star teams in Texas and Wyoming since T-ball. In 2012 I was picked up to play on the Casper State Championship team that went to Kent, Washington for Regionals. Also, in 2013, I played on the All State Wyoming Team the went to Regionals in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
I love the game of baseball and give it my all anytime I step on the field. I've been involved in team sports since I was little and know what it takes to be a team player. I've always wanted to play college ball and I am looking forward to playing at Lake Region State College. After Lake Region, since it is a junior college, I hope to continue on to a four year school. I will work to my fullest potential to ensure success.
