Grant Hill '18 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of baseball and hope to continue playing while earning my college degree.  Making the varsity team and being asked to play Senior Legion my freshman year.   And my team winning a conference title, as a team, have highlighted my high school career.  I have been fortunate to have great teammates and coaches throughout my baseball career.  As a pitcher,  I have had many successful moments and a few challenging moments.  Those successes and more so the failures,  have helped to make me a better player.   One of my greatest strengths is how I react to adversity and pressure.  I pitch composed and do not rattle. When the game is on the line, I want the ball in my hand.  I am very competitive with a high baseball IQ and consider myself a player of great character.  I work hard during both the season and off-season to become a better baseball player and person. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically as well as athletically.  As a multi-sport athlete, six-time letter winner and captain of the varsity football team.  I know how to win and take a leadership role on my teams to establish a winning environment and mentality.  I believe I could immediately have a positive impact on your program both on and off the field.  I would be honored to be a part of your baseball program.
