When I was 4 years old, my parents fiorst introduced me to baseball and I loved it. I have played every season ever since. Baseball has taught me alot about myself. As a catcher, it has brought out natural leadership qualities, charisma and talent. As a sophomore, my goal was to make my varsity team and if I worked hard enough and push myself, I could take over the starting catcher position....and did. Now in my junior year and as the 2017 team captain, I have solidified the varsity catcher position and my new goal is to continue my off season workouts and postional training so I can play baseball in college. I have learned a lot of details of the game and all of it's mental aspects of it, alos learning that the game itself is just as much mental as it is physical. I have also learned time management and how to balance my school work and baseball, because first and foremost, I am a student, then athlete. I have worked with and played under several coaches and their ideologies of the game, adapting and learning from them as needed.
My goals for college are to play the catcher position, maintain a high GPA and get my degree in Business/Sports Management.
